Peter Allan Serandos

Peter Allan Serandos, 58, passed peacefully at Carlsbad’s Pacifica House, Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2015. Peter’s life, shortened by cancer, was full, as he lived his motto, “Here for a good time, not a long time”.

Peter, a California native, and long time Carlsbad resident, will be missed by the many who knew and loved him for his goodwill and his great sense of humor.  A Maintenance Technician for Capital Growth Properties, his hard work and dedication to his employer and his residents, was honored last year being named “Maintenance Technician of the Year” by the San Diego County Apartment Association.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at the Carlsbad Inn & Resort, March 22 from 4:30pm.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Hospice of the North Coast to dedicate in Peter’s name a bird feeder at the facility, in keeping with Peter’s love of birds and nature.
