Philip Warren Hansen, born on July 19, 1937, in Lakefield, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 26 2024, after a short illness. A respected educator and dedicated professional, Philip earned his Doctorate degree from the University North Texas and initially contributed to the academic community by teaching at Louisiana State University. He later transitioned into a successful career in the insurance industry, where he made significant impacts in the lives of many.
Philip's character was defined by his kindness and patience. He was known for his unwavering compassion and dedication to helping others, qualities that resonated deeply with those who knew him. A loving and kind man, Philip cherished the time spent with his family, creating lasting memories and fostering strong bonds.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Philip served his country honorably in the Army and the Texas National Guard. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, as he enjoyed engaging in hobbies that fostered his creativity and craftsmanship, particularly woodworking and restoring antique trucks.
Philip is survived by his beloved wife, Esta Hansen; sons, Randall Hansen and Paul Hansen; daughter-in-law, Carole Hansen; and grandsons, Cooper Hansen and Parker Hansen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hans J. Hansen and Olga Wold Hansen, who instilled in him values that shaped his character.
Philip Warren Hansen will be remembered for his gentle spirit, generosity, and the profound impact he had on the lives of those around him. His legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know him.
