Phyllis worked at Lemoore Union High School as the Cafeteria Manager and loved her job. She made many positives changes including implementing a computerized inventory system. She was most proud of a letter from Governor Brown recognizing her dedication and hard work. Family was most important to Phyllis. After retirement, she cared for her mother and brother in their final days. She was lovingly called a crazy cat lady by her family. She had a knack for making pomegranates into the best jelly ever.
In her final years, Phyllis lived at Delta Nursing and Rehab in downtown Visalia. She was loved by nurses and residents alike and was known for her sassy and spunky personality. She will be missed greatly.
Phyllis never wanted to be the center of attention and requested no public service. There will be a small celebration of life for family held in June.
