Ray Nelson

"Always together, never apart. Separated by distance, but never in heart"
Today we lost Ray Nelson the patriarch of our family. He lost his battle with lung cancer. The impression he has left on our lives will never fade. We will miss you so very much. We will miss watching baseball games with you. Miss you yelling at us that we would make a better door than a window when one of us blocked the TV. We will miss your Texas accent. We will miss everything about you. You're in a better place now and we know you'll always be with us.

Ray is survived by his wife, Patricia; 4 Daughters, Joanne South; Martha Coltrin; Patricia Preciado; and Margaret Nelson. 5 Sons, Daniel; Thomas; John; Steven; and James; 27 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by 2 Sons, William and Ricky.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday the 17th of July (12pm to 2pm) at the Delta View Golf Course, 2242 Golf Club Rd., Pittsburg, CA 94585 Banquet Room
