Reginald Alvin Jara

Reginald Alvin Jara was born on April 7th, 1939 and passed into eternity on July 10th, 2019 at the age of 80 years old. He was born in Anaheim, CA to his parents Ruben and Marie Jara. Reginald attended St. Boniface Catholic Church elementary school, Mater Dei High School and Fullerton Junior College.

He began working in the United States Postal Service in 1960 and proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. In 2000, he concluded his working years from a Postal Supervisor position allowing him to begin enjoying his well-deserved retirement.

Reginald married Carmen Maria Canales on May 27th, 1967 and over the years, he enjoyed music, movies and reading as well as trips to Running Springs, Ensenada and Cambria with his family.

Reginald is survived by his wife Carmen, his son Robert, his brother Al, and sister in law Sandy. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews from the tradition of family gatherings.

Services for Reginald take place at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Anaheim, CA on August 5th at 10 AM with a celebration of life following mass.
