Robert "Bob" Charles

Robert "Bob" Charles passed away on November 24, 2023, in Rialto, CA, at the age of 74. He was born on January 14, 1949, in Los Angeles, CA. Robert graduated from Bishop Mora Salesian High School in 1967. Robert was a hardworking and outgoing individual who had a passion for traveling and staying active.

Robert had a successful career as an Offset Pressman, dedicating over 40 years to his craft. He spent a significant portion of his career at Beacon Press in Whittier, CA, where he became an expert in running and tuning a four-color press.

Outside of work, Robert had a love for cars and enjoyed working on them in his spare time. He also found joy in driving his Dune Buggy in Glamis and riding his Jet-Ski on Lake Isabella. These hobbies allowed him to unwind and indulge in his adventurous side.

Robert will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his wife Dolores Charles, his daughters Madonna Charles, Shauna (Natasha) Charles-Sanchez, and Roberta Charles, his granddaughter Nicolette Padilla, his grandson Gavin Charles-Williams, his brother Bruce Charles, his sister Isabella (Maria) Charles, his brother Troy Charles, and his nephew Andrew (Cristal) Charles. He was preceded in death by his mother Bertha Charles (née Moreno), his father Domingo Charles, and his former spouse Magdalena "Maggie" Charles.

A ceremony to honor Bob's life will take place at the end of January, with further details to be announced. His legacy as a loving father, brother, and grandfather will be cherished by all who knew him.
