Robert Leonard Millar

Robert was born on February 3, 1945 and passed away on November 13, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.. Rob was a resident of Novato, CA for the past 45 years. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in nearby Grayslake. He graduated from San Jose State University and did his military service in the dental corps at Fort Lewis, Washington. He worked in Medical ,Dental and Surgical Sales in the western states including Alaska and Hawaii. He enjoyed his family most of all, but also loved playing golf, sailing, remodeling, fine woodworking, Grayslake High School Reunions and his "breakfast Club" workouts at the Novato YMCA.
Rob was predeceased by his parents Robert and Clara Millar of Oxnard, Calif. He is survived by Patricia, is loving wife of 47 years, his daughter Erinn (husband Jeremy) of Novato, his son Kyle (wife Andrea) of Costa Mesa, Calif., his brother Terry (wife Lisa) , nephews Terry Jr and Alex of Sparks Nevada, brother-in-law Brian O'Malley, nephew Kevin O'Malley, niece Koleen O'Malley and numerous other in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and their extended families.
A celebrartion of Rob's life with family and friends will be held Sat. Jan 19, 2019 at 1 pm in The Key Room at Homeward Bound in Novato, Ca. 1385 North Hamilton Pkwy, Novato, Ca 94949.
