Robert Salmeron

Robert ‘Bob’ Salmeron, born on February 19, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025 at the age of 86 in Harlingen, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army and later entered the insurance industry, eventually starting an insurance agency with his wife of 64 years, Roslyn Salmeron.

Bob had a lifelong passion for table tennis and was active in his community through Gideons (50+ years) and Rotary International (40+ years). He was also a dedicated member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Bob Salmeron is preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Mary Salmeron, Siblings Dr. Rudy Jr., Jackie, Ralph, and Richard Salmeron. 

He Is survived by his wife, Roslyn and children Michelle Olive (Julie), Robert Salmeron, and Monica Zaidan (Emad) and 3 grandchildren (Ethan Olive, Andrew Olive and Mika Zaidan), siblings Mary Ellen Gomez, Patricia Molter (Charles), Yvonne Smith (Larry), Raul Salmeron (Tiffany) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of life to held on March 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 602 Morgan Blvd, Harlingen, Texas.
