Rodney Wayne Liming

Rodney was born in Sheridan, WY on December 21, 1940 to Glen and Mae Liming. He passed on September 27, 2017. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1959. Rod served in the Navy from 1960-1964. Most of his service was aboard the Icebreaker USS Burton Island stationed in Seattle . While there he met Kathy Ward and they were married in August of 1963.
Rod was a carpenter most of his work life. He spent 12 years as a building inspector for Skagit County. Rod was active in retirement as a volunteer at Marysville Chamber of Commerce and Snohomish Sheriff Department. Rod attended The Ridge Community Church in Redmond, WA.
He is survived by Kathy, son Edward (Maggie) Liming, daughter Darcy (Phil) Cheesman, three granddaughters, Samantha Cheesman, Morgan Cheesman and Sedona Liming. He is also survived by his brother Milton and sisters Beulah and Norma of Sheridan, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Mae Liming and his older brother Glen Liming. A celebration of Rod's life will be held on October 21st at 3pm at Blueberry Ridge Farm with informal dinner to follow (28004 Old Owen Road Monroe WA 98272).
