Ronald Keith Reeves was born in Denver, Colorado in 1934. He went to school at Lakewood High School where he played baseball, tennis and wrestled. He married Marilyn Joyce Brown in 1955 and together they had 5 children. They divorced later and he married Constance Jo Collins in 1972. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2022.
Ron was a veteran of the Marine Corps Reserves and a skilled General Contractor who built many homes and light commercial buildings in Colorado and Connecticut. He was the builder of the Lake Plaza Shopping Center and remodeled a number of Village Inn restaurants in Colorado. In 1986 they moved to Connecticut where he built more quality homes.
In 1992 they sold their home (that Ron built) in Connecticut and took off on their dream of full time RV life and seeing the country in their Motorhome with their little car and towed behind them. For a couple of summers, he and his wife Connie even worked as camp hosts for Bear Country Safari in the Dakotas.
After 13 years on the road, they settled in Yuma, Arizona for the warm climate, lack of snow and welcoming people (they loved their Square Dancing and the friends they made there).
Ron is survived by his wife Constance, daughters Denise, Rhonda, Lynn, and Tammy, sons Mitchell, and Mark (Bruie), brothers Rick and John, 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his eldest son Kevin.
Ron was an honest hardworking man who was loved by so many. He will be dearly missed.
