Salvatore Anzalone, (72), of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on September 27, 2023.

Salvatore, fondly known as “Sal”, was born to Louis and Josephine Anzalone, on October 11, 1950, in St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. He was the oldest of four children who loved playing sports and being outside. During his childhood, he spoke of stories playing stickball in the street, being amongst his childhood friends, and developed a strong work ethic at a young age having the biggest paper route in Garfield, New Jersey. Sal along with his cousin Orlando, backpacked through Europe in his early 20’s. Sal pursued a career in accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University in which he spent many years of his adulthood as an accountant. Later in his life he invested in real estate, confidently managing his properties. His favorite vacations are cruising with his family.

Sal is survived by his wife Valerie and her two daughters Nicole (Rabideau) and Noelle (Irvin), husband Mitchell, and grandson Milo. Salvatore is survived by his two children; his son Christopher, along with Christopher’s wife Kelli, grandson Landon and granddaughter Mackenzie as well as Salvatore’s daughter Cassandra. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Marchese (and late husband Thomas) and her four children Bethann, Stephanie, Jessica and Thomas. He is also survived by his brother, Martin and wife Diane along with their 5 children Christina, Martin, Sarah, Nicole, and Karen. He is also survived by his brother Louis, wife Lindy, and their 5 children Jenny, Joey, Ricky, Edie, and Bobby. Sal was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Josephine.

Everyone knows Sal as family to many but a friend to all. He was grounded by his values of commitment and dedication. He often helped many with home renovation projects and worked on building many things from cabinets to cars. Sal enjoyed spending time with his family, being amongst friends, watching football, and his love to be around the many children throughout his family. Sal had a wonderful sense of humor and is adored being a fun grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, and friend.

Salvatore’s family will host a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be held at the Connerton Clubhouse located at 21100 Fountain Garden Rd, Land O' Lakes, FL 34637. The service will be located inside the main clubhouse.
