Sharon Anne Billings

Sharon Anne (Harris) Billings, 79, graduated to her heavenly home on September 5, 2024, surrounded by her family in Denton, Texas. Born on February 6, 1945 in Wichita Falls, Texas, Sharon was cherished by many and a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Sharon shared nearly 59 years of marriage with her beloved husband, David Billings. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Melanie Casey (husband Kevin) of Bridgeport and Jennifer Dunn (husband James) of Denton, and took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Chris Casey and Jules Thieme (husband Brandon), and great-grandmother to Charlie Thieme. She also deeply loved her living siblings Joe Harris of Dallas, Darlene Whetzell of Grapevine, Janna Fajardo of Florida, Tammie Turano of Houston and their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

Professionally, Sharon was the proud owner of Sharon’s Window Designs, where for many years she combined her passion and talent in interior design to enhance numerous homes with her exquisite taste and eye for detail.

Sharon's hobbies include landscaping, working in her flowerbeds, cooking, sewing, and hosting friends and family, always ensuring her home was a welcoming and beautiful sanctuary.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Henry Buck Harris and Bettye Jo (Watson) Harris as well as her brother Henry Buck Harris Jr.
