Sherry Jean Wright

Sherry Jean Wright, born on August 24, 1947, in Long Beach, California, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, in Thousand Oaks, California, after a courageous battle with illness.

Sherry dedicated much of her professional life to serving as a supervisor for the Employment Development Department, a role from which she retired in 1994. Her commitment to her work was paralleled by her devotion to her family and community.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her devoted husband, four daughters, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Sherry's unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was actively involved in her church, where she found support and joy among her fellow congregants.

In addition to her spiritual pursuits, Sherry had a passion for floral design, a creative outlet through which she expressed her love for beauty and nature.
