Shirley Maye Grover

Shirley Grover passed away suddenly but peacefully on August 24, 2026, at Rainier Rehabilitation in Puyallup, Washington. Shirley was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on May 1, 1939. She primarily lived in Washington State. She was a long-time resident of Snohomish County until she moved to Randle, Washington twenty years ago. In her lifetime, Shirley was primarily a homemaker, however she was also a waitress at the Everett Yacht Club and a telephone operator but devoted much of her life to her family. Shirley loved to cook, bake, tend to her garden, play cards and thrift shop. Shirley was a very social person, making friends with everyone she could. She also loved animals, especially cats! Shirley is survived by her children; Russell (Hector) Borgnin, Ryan (Tamera) Boring and Carrie (Jeff) Gentry; her stepchildren Sheryl Grover and Anthony (Oditte) Grover; her brothers Wayne Peck and Dick (Vicki) Peck; her grandchildren Alison (Drex) Adams, Brittany (Justin) Botejue, Brian Gentry, Timothy Gentry; her step grandchildren Kegan Tuller, Kamille Tuller, AJ Grover, Ava Grover and Arsinoe Grover; her great-grandchildren David Adams, Eden Adams, Henry Adams, Clara Botejue and George Botejue; her step great-grandchildren Karson Tuller, Kinzlee Elliott and Jane Tuller; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Grover, her brother Mike Peck and her sister Pat Easley. A Memorial Service will be at the United Methodist Church, 116 Kindle Road in Randle, Washington 98377 on Saturday, October 10th at 1:00 pm.
