Shirley Jane Ann Gunn

Shirley Jane Ann (Soulliere) Gunn, 76, was born in Stambaugh Michigan on June 2, 1945. On September 11, 2021 she ascended into Heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Joseph Soulliere and Verna Luella Powell, husband of 56 years Elmer Guy Gunn, son Robert Paul Gunn and sister-in-law and best friend Bonnie June (Gunn) Ali.

She is survived by her son Patrick (Lynn), brother Richard (Rosemary) Soulliere, sister-in-law Sue Gunn, daughter-in-law Jeannette Ashton-Gunn, grandchildren Patrick (Katelyn) Gunn Jr, Cody Gunn, Annabella Gunn, Elianna Gunn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley graduated from Carroll University, Waukesha Wisconsin with a degree in Fine Arts and a minor in Psychology. Her professional career included work as a factory line manager, office assistant, real estate agent and artist.

Shirley loved horses, their huskies, art and socializing with family and friends. She lived in southeastern Wisconsin most of her life, spent her last 11 years enjoying retirement in Sun City Arizona, and passed away in Brookfield Wisconsin surrounded by her family.

A private Celebration of Life dinner will be held October 16, 2021.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (StJude.org).
