Shirley Ann Tymel, born on August 14, 1940, in Big Flats, NY, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, in Montgomery, TX. Known affectionately as "Sweetie" to her family and friends, Shirley was a vibrant spirit who never met a stranger and brought joy to everyone around her. Shirley enjoyed a successful career as a district manager for Chevron convenience stores, showcasing her strong work ethic and leadership skills. However, her greatest pride was found in her role as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her cherished children, Cheryl and Dan Edwards, Deanna and Chris Dezarn, grand children Kelly Edwards and Joe Kush, Jeff and Jessica Edwards, Dane Noska, Mary and Kyle High. Her legacy also included her adored great - grandchildren: Brendan, Noah, and Oliver Edwards, Cadyn and Troy High. In her leisure time, Shirley loved to dance and visit the casino, always seeking fun and excitement in life. She was a fan of game shows and took great pleasure in watching NASCAR races. Above all, Shirley deeply cherished the time spent with her family, creating lasting memories and bonds. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Tymel, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. She is also survived by her siblings, Doug and Shirlee Kimble, David and Ruthie Kimble, Danny and Nancy Kimble, and Paul and Leslie Kimble, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her joyful spirit and love for life will be missed by all who knew her.
