Shirley Williamson, 88, died May 13, 2021, with her two daughters by her side. She was fondly referred to as the Queen Mum, she enjoyed puzzles, tea parties and talking with her family and friends as often as possible.
She was born August 4, 1932 in Hull, England, emigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1966 and immigrated to the US in 1968; she lived in the Bay Area for many years as well as Springfield, PA, Summerville, SC, San Diego, CA and finally Bothell, WA. She was a bookkeeper all her life until her retirement.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Joanne (Jim) and Suzanne and six grandsons Kyle (Sarah), Benjamin (Amanda), James (Alexandra), Adam (Lydia), Zachary and Joshua, whom she loved very much. She was predeceased by her sister Kay Ellis neé Williamson; Kay's daughters, Helen (Chris), Lorna (Bill) and Abigail (James) and their children, Trevor, Sarah, Kayleigh, Brooke, Molly, Mariella & Emmett were all very special to her.
A celebration of Shirley's life with be held privately with a proper English Tea Party attended by close friends and family.
