Socorro Ruelas Lepe,

Born on March 12, 1925 in Jalisco, Mexico.
Passed Away peacefully on June 16, 2018 in Orange, CA

She married Pablo Ruelas on October 18, 1942.

Pablo and Socorro along with two of their children left Tepic Nayarit Mexico, and arrived in Los Alamitos in 1950, where she lived on Reagan Street next door to St. Isidore's Catholic Church for 68 Years.
They had 4 more children, on June 18, 1959 Pablo passed away in an automobile accident while in Mexico on his way to visit his sister.

Socorro was left a widow at the age of 34 with the responsibility of raising 6 children between the ages of 5 and 15. She never remarried and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.

Socorro was preceded in Death by her husband Pablo, Daughter Rosa Underwood, and Daughter Eva Luna. She is Survived by her Son Pablo Ruelas, Daughter Leticia (Manuel) Varella, Daughter Martha (Joseph) Brown, Son Adam Ruelas, and Many Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.

She will truly be missed by her Family, Friends and the community of Los Alamitos.

A Celebration of life Service will be held this Friday June 29, 2018, 10:00 AM, at
St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 3591 Orangewood Avenue, Los Alamitos CA
