Susan Ginnelly

Susan Lynn (Sue) Ginnelly, 46, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 5:00 pm at 4425 N. Granite Reef Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Reverend Doyle Williams of Scottsdale Congregational United Church of Christ will be officiating. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the service.Sue lived her early years in Worth, Illinois, before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1979. She graduated from Greenway High School and briefly attended Arizona State University.Sue was married to Dan Ginnelly on July 3, 1992; they were married 20 years, and were blessed with two beautiful children, Alex (19) and Maya (16). Sue was a part owner and manager of Spinners on the Green, a disc golf and bike rental company in Scottsdale, Arizona. She devoted much of her spare time to her family and the promotion of disc golf in Arizona. Sue and Dan enjoyed traveling together, especially to the beach, and visiting friends. Sue is survived by her spouse, Dan; children, Alex and Maya; Mother, Lorraine Lode; sisters, Lora Lode (Bob Sandusky), Marilyn (Ted) Colmar, Carolyn (Roy) Bovingdon; brothers, Terry (Janine) Lode, Marty Lode, Rick (Shirlee) Haugen, Steve (Betty) Haugen, Bill (Dolly) Lode; and other family members and friends.Sue is preceded in death by her father, Martin Lode.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Dan Ginnelly at: C/O Spinners on the Green7607 E.
