Suzanne Douglas passed away February 23rd, 2025, at the age of 84, or to those who knew her, slightly over age 39.
Sue was born and raised in the town of Franklin, PA where she enjoyed the quality upbringing of a small town. She was a majorette for her high school where Sue twirled a baton while it was lit on fire. After meeting and marrying James Douglas and starting her family, she moved to Southern California mostly due to employment. After her children were old enough to attend school, she started working for the Cypress school district where she excelled. Sue started as a crossing guard. Then moved to the cafeteria. Then became a school bus driver and eventually became the head of transportation and warehouse operations for the district.
Sue was beloved by many who as children, enjoyed her bus rides and as adults, would often recognize her and say "Hello" and "Do you remember me?" which she often did remember them. Sue was about the most supportive mother you could imagine, putting her children ahead of herself time and time again. She loved elephants and lighthouses.
Sue is survived by her two sons, daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
