Ted Raymond Grinnell was born on August 8th 1972 in Seattle, Washington.. His mother Shirley Anne Marie and Fred Erwin Grinnell were residents of Washington during his childhood. When Ted became a teenager, he followed his father on an adventure to Alaska. He lived in Wasilla, Alaska until he became 18 and joined the Navy. While in the Navy, when he was 21, he met Anabel Garcia and fell in love. Ted married Anabel Garcia Grinnell on August 26, 1995. From that union they had a son, Raymond Anthony Grinnell. Ted left the Navy after 4 years. He was a veteran of foreign war and he took part in defending our great country during the Persian Gulf War. Ted was a security guard and a salesman after his career in the Navy. He enjoyed selling cars and homes as his permanent career. During his leisure time with family and friends, he enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. He loved working on fixing things just for fun. Ted and Anabel later had two more children through adoption. They welcomed James Grinnell and Kylee Grinnell to that family. Ted Grinnell was an easy going, lovable guy who enjoyed helping others. He enjoyed time with his family, siblings Thomas Grinnell, Fred Grinnell, Deborah Jacobson, and Karen Grinnell. During Ted's childhood his mother remarried and he had Cyndie Matthews, Kenneth Rasmussen and Steve Rasmussen as siblings, along with step-father Richard Rasmussen.
Ted loved nature and exploring the outdoors. He had an adventurous heart. He loved his country and he loved arguing politics with anyone who gave him an opportunity. He will be greatly missed. Ted Raymond Grinnell passed away on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017.
