Theodore J Morriss

Theodore "Ted" Morriss passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 in Seattle WA. at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his Grandparents Harlow and Ella Bailey and his Mother Violet Bailey and his Son John Morriss. Ted is survived by his children, Laurie Bushnell ( Ed Bushnell), Ted Morriss Jr, Jeffrey Morriss,Terry Morriss (Sheri), Tim Roberts, Sueann Barton. Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grand Children.

Ted was born November 25, 1932 in Seattle to Violet Bailey and Theodore Morriss. He graduated from Queen Ann High School in 1950. After High School Ted began his career at Oroweat Bakery as a Baker. Ted joined the Army in 1951 during the Korean War. After the Army Ted went right back to work at Oroweat, married and had children.

Ted was an accomplished baker spending 43 years 6 months, 1 week and 1 day at Oroweat . He made sure we didn't forget that, he practically said it every day!
He was a man of many talents, who loved to sing, especially to Frank Sinatra. He loved to collect cars and he was always remodeling a home or building a new one.

A ceremony is scheduled at Tahoma National Cemetery, July 27th at 11:30. All are welcome to attend.
