Thomas Joseph Bradley Sr. (90) of Prescott Arizona, passed away peacefully, on February 6, 2026.

Tom was the youngest child of Elmer and Addie Bradley. He was born at home, in Shickley, Nebraska, on April 28, 1935, and was welcomed by 4 older siblings.

Tom grew up in Columbus, Nebraska. He achieved an Eagle Scout ranking at age 14. Tom always enjoyed being around water. He was the manager of the Columbus swimming pool for several summers, and taught swimming and life saving for the Red Cross. He spent a summer in New York as a camp counselor, also teaching water skills. Tom enjoyed water skiing and built a boat from a kit when he was in his early 20’s.

Tom graduated from Columbus High School in 1953. He attended the University of Nebraska for 3 years, studying Accounting, until he was drafted. Tom was selected to be an Aviation Cadet for the United States Air Force and served from October 1957 until May 1958 when he was medically discharged. Tom eventually earned his private pilot’s license.

Tom and Sharon (Conner) were married on May 16, 1959. They settled in Leigh Nebraska where Tom worked at the Bank of Leigh, eventually becoming bank president. Five children were welcomed to the family during this time. The Bradley family moved to Tempe Arizona in 1979.

Tom was always building things, starting in high school. Woodworking was a lifelong passion for Tom. You will find something made by Tom, in every one of his children’s and grandchildren’s homes (rocking horses, kaleidoscopes, music boxes, and more). Tom also made a career of woodworking, in his middle years.

In his later years, Tom and his longtime partner, Marie Solace, enjoyed traveling across the United States, often by motorhome. They enjoyed making new friends and attending many motorhome rallies.

om is survived by 4 children, Thomas Bradley Jr (Teresa) of Prescott AZ, Scott Bradley (Dawn) of Kasota MN, Laurie McDonald (James) of Phoenix AZ and Brian Bradley (Christine) of Chandler AZ, 11 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his son, Kurt Bradley, in addition to his parents and siblings.
