I am saddened and with a heavy heart to announce the death of my dear brother, Thomas Edward Pyle Jr. He was known as Thomas by most and TJ by those closest. TJ was taken too soon on December 2, 2024, at his home in Tacoma Washington.
Born to Thomas and Laurie Pyle on June 26, 1965, in Coeur d’Alene Idaho and was a resident in Post Falls for 7 years. After a divorce TJ went to live with his mother in Beaverton Oregon where he spent most of his school years in the Beaverton school district and graduated from Sunset HS in 1984.
In 1979, at the age of 14, TJ reunited with his sister Tommi Lynn and later moved to the Seattle area in 2010 to be closer to her. He was employed with PCC Aerostructures as a deburr technician. His hobbies were playing guitar, singing and he was a pretty good pool shooter too. TJ had a quick sense of humor like our dad and I often said “the apple don’t fall far from the tree!” Despite my efforts to convert him into a Seahawks fan, he stayed true to the Steelers since the age of 3.
TJ is survived by his sister Tommi Lynn and a younger brother Mitchell and is preceded in death by his mother Laurie, his father Thomas and his sister Micki.
While it is difficult to let him go, I know that God is pleased to receive back into his arms a gentle soul, where he belongs, and he is surrounded by the love of those who went before him.
TJ, you will be dearly missed, my brother. Rest in peace Brubby! I love you!
