Vera Allen Brewster, 76, of Cathedral City passed away January 8, 2018. She was born January 19, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Anna (Bandura) and Alex Allen. In 1947, her family moved to Los Angeles. She graduated from Montebello High School and began her career working for Rockwell. She moved to Palm Springs in 1985 where she remained until her death.
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all, Vera had three children with Ernest Brewster who passed away in 2008. Her oldest son, Michael, preceded her in death in 1995. Her daughter, Laura Jane Brewster lives in Seattle, and her youngest son, Steven, lives in Lake Tahoe, California. Vera had two grandchildren, Jasmine Magdaleno, Seattle, Washington, and Cameron Magdaleno of Los Angeles. Her sister, Nadia Wiggins, and brother-in-law, Robert, live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vera was always the life of the party. She was generous with her love, warmth and cooking ability. She would do anything for a friend. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends within and outside of her Sungate Community.
She is finally pain free, dancing again and living with the angels. Rest in peace Momma, Grandma, Sister and Beloved Friend - while your passing leaves a void here on earth we all know how happy you are now and how fortunate they are to have you in your new place.
We will all deeply miss her and keep her in our hearts and minds forever. Can't wait to see you again.
