Viki Anne Briones

Viki Anne Briones returned to her heavenly home after a valiant long battle with breast cancer. She passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on June 13, 2018. She was 47 years old. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Viki was born on July 13, 1970 to Connie and Celestino Briones. The youngest of 4 siblings, Viki grew up in Whittier and graduated from California High School.

Viki was a driven mother known for her friendliness, beautiful smile, and love of life. When diagnosed with breast cancer, she remained dedicated in her faith and in her will to fight her illness. She continued to be a brave, strong woman, even throughout her final months.

During her courageous and challenging battle, Viki never forgot the most important thing in her life –how to be a good mom. Viki is survived by her 5 beautiful daughters—Briahna, Arabella, Stanzi, Emiko, and Giavanna. She will be remembered as a devoted, fun-loving mother, who always put her children first. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Viki will be loved and missed by her daughters, as well as her siblings, father, and her numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 13, 2018 at Penn Park, Whittier, CA at 10:00 a.m. This date would have been her 48th birthday. All who loved Viki are welcome to come celebrate her life. Attire is colorful and comfortable. Please bring a camp chair to the park as there is no seating.
