Virginia Dela Rosa Vizcarra-Kearns

Virginia Dela Rosa Vizcarra-Kearns a.k.a. "Gene, Ginny, or Ninang Gy" to close friends and family as the eldest of the five children of Demetria and Fidel Vizcarra. 

A doctor of medicine and university professor specializing in Psychiatry in both the Philippines and United States, she holds the titles of RN, MD and PhD.  As the eldest child, she shouldered a lot of responsibilities in helping her parents financially and in teaching her brothers and sisters academically and how to be street smart into adulthood and even after they each had families of their own. Virginia loved to sing. She sang Soprano as a member of the University of Santo Tomas Medical Glee Club. Baking was her next passion, making sure to perfect everything she baked. 

She stood as a mother, caring and loving to all of her family members, a mentor for anyone pursuing their dreams, a role model for perfection and a support for others to live well and thrive. She will surely be missed!
