Vivian Lavorini Toschi
December 27,1916 – September 24, 2016
Entered peacefully into rest at Walnut Villa in Concord, California. Vivian was born in Occidental, California to the late Ralph Panelli and Angelina Cucci Panelli. Preceded in death by her first husband Mario Lavorini; by her parents; brothers David Panelli, Harry Panelli, Ralph Panelli, Eugene Vivarelli and sisters Alice Panelli and Evelyn Taverna. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Lavorini and Marilyn McClure; grandchildren Dawn Browner Suffridge, Joseph McClure, Amy Browner Monterroso, John Browner, Hilary McClure Skillings (David), and Emily McClure Renteria (Mario); eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; nieces Joan Semonsen, Tina Petroni, Louise Koplan, Diane Gizzi, Nancy Gallenson and nephews Ralph Panelli, David Panelli, Michael Panelli, and many great nieces and nephews.
Vivian's first exposure to traveling the world came from her world cruise from San Francisco to Europe, Asia, and Iceland followed by Australia and many trips to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, and Italy. But her greatest joy came from her many grandchildren.
During her lifetime Vivian generously gave of her time through volunteering at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Luther Burbank Home and Garden, and Santa Rosa Cultural Center.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Agnes Church, 3910 Chestnut Ave., Concord at 10 a.m.; reception following at the home of Marilyn McClure 3972 Newcastle Rd., Concord, Ca. 94519. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Rosa. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
