Wanda Gail Wroten

Wanda Gail (Gardner) Wroten of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home on September 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 4,1956 in Pensacola, Florida. Gail lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her favorite Holiday was Christmas, she loved her flowers, working in her yard and riding the golf-cart. She also loved her neighbors as family.

Gail married Michael Wroten and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. She was a devoted wife, momma, mother/in law, Mimi and friend, whose greatest pride was her family. Her legacy will live on in the values she instilled, the traditions she cherished, and the love she shared so freely.

She is survived by Michael Wroten, Husband, Ricky Stokes (Brother), Therese Gardner Cole (Sister), Debbie(Son) Wroten, Sister in law, sons Jerry (Bubba) White, Timothy(Rachel)Pounders, Kris (Christina)Pounders, Kevin (Nicole)Pounders, Arika Simmons (daughter in law), grandchildren Hayden (Mae) Crouch, Hailey Crouch, Nevaeh Crouch, Steven Crouch, Mason Crouch, Andy Griffis, Christian Shiver, Ayden Bailey, Grace Pounders, Mila Taylor, Darian Decker, Thomas Deriemacker, Cheyenne Edge, Great-Grandchildren, Malani Crouch, Braylon Shiver, Bobby JJ Whitmire, Aaliyah Dew, along with many extended family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by Marie Johnson Gardner Thomas (mom), Clarence Gardner (dad), Grace Lockwood Gardner (stepmom), Steven Andrew Crouch (youngest son), Clarina Gardner Odom (sister) and Cindy Gardner Thomas (sister).

A celebration of Gail’s life will be held on October 10, 2025, at Olive Baptist Church, in Pensacola, Florida from 10am-12pm. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor of her life.

Gail’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
