WILLIAM RICHARD ALBRECHT

William was born in 1926 and passed into heaven on June 15, 2019, at the age of 92. William was a resident of Prescott, Arizona. He is survived by his sons, Gary James Albrecht, with his wife Deborah, of Blairstown, N.J., and Ronald Douglas Albrecht of Morris Plains, N.J. He was predeceased by his sons, William R. Albrecht, Jr., and Jeffrey Carl Albrecht. William is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan, and stepdaughters, Cheryl Ann Cunningham and Suzanne Anita Markham, both of Broken Arrow, OK, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a surviving Bronze Star crew member of the WWII bombing of the carrier, USS Franklin, CV-13, off the coast of Japan. He attended John Marshall Law School, was a special agent of the F.B.I., and then practiced law 30 plus years with Schenck, Price, Smith & King in Morristown, NJ. Upon resigning from the firm he opened his own private practice in Belvidere, NJ. During his career, he represented the Twp. of Knowlton and Town of Belvidere, NJ, several banks, hospitals and individuals. William was appointed to Judge of the Superior Court of NJ in Warren County, until his mandatory retirement at the age of 70, and moved to Prescott, AZ, in 2008.
