William F. Hooper

Bill Hooper was born in Nashville, TN. He met and married Marian in San Pedro, CA. They were married 51 years. He is survived by his wife Marian, son John, granddaughter Haley, brothers, George, Bob & Nick Hooper, sister Irene Fitzhugh and many nieces and nephews. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1948 and served for 26 years, retiring in 1974 as a Senior Chief Hull Technician. They settled in San Diego, CA., and went to work for the Cajon Valley Union School District. He retired permanently in 1992 to pursue his interest in golfing, reading and volunteer work.
